Job Description

Minimum Requirements

• Holding a minimum academic of high level Diploma certificate in civil, construction or lifting industry or equivalent experience.
• Must have CITB (advanced) (Construction Industry Training Board) Certificate or equivalent.
• A minimum of 10 years experience in rigging, lifting and transporting in the oil and refining or petrochemical industry including at least 3 years supervisory experience or higher position.
• Good written and spoken English. Ability to write technical reports with minimum guidance.
• Good IT skills using technical lifting software.
• Good capability of reading & understanding technical drawings and reports.


Remuneration Package

• Salary negotiable
• 38 days work and 25 days off.

Certification Requirement

Scope of Duties • The Successful candidate must be experienced in directing, coordinating and controlling the activities assigned to contractors, direct hired & UAE national personnel, to ensure all rigging, lifting operations and transportation required for the LNG Plant and associated facilities are performed safely, according to prescribed standards of quality and at the most economic cost. • Coordinate the daily running of rigging work through the rigging Term Contract and direct hired Foreman. Includes planning and scheduling routine work, responding to emergency work in conjunction with Planning Engineer. • Ensures the standard and quality of work executed by the rigging Term Contractor. Including manual lifting, crane heavy lifting, routine rigging and transportation, etc. • Submits written and electronic reports on quality of Contractor’s services to ensure correct allocation of manpower and materials cost, etc. • Prepare daily report on rigging Term Contractor listing the jobs in progress and category and number of worked allocated to each job, so that compliance with Term Contract can be verified. • Provides opportunities of assisting, training and developing of employees under his direction. • Capable of positively coordinating and communicating with different departments, contractors and parallel companies in order to provide adequate satisfied services to customers.
