Job Description

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (This section focuses on the knowledge, skills and abilities, including

Good knowledge of field work and should be physically fit and strong in character with positive outlook. Extensive
travelling will be required.


COMPETENCIES (This section focuses on the set of behaviors that lead to superior performance)
Should be a leader. Troubleshooter. Strong Technical background in water and wastewater technologies.
Capable of handling different people from different region/background. Coordination between team members is a
must.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY (Provide the number and type of employee supervised, functionally and/or
directly)
Should handle a team of up to 10-12 technicians/helpers

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY (Budgeting responsibilities, approval privileges on expenditure requests, reporting
and auditing functions)
Will be responsible to fill the time sheets and working hours for site activities for his team.

COMMUNICATIONS (Within and outside the company)
Should be good in Communication with other employees, management, and clients.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (Walking, lifting, equipment, operation, etc.)
Should be fit and capable of physical activity and should accommodate to site conditions and working in nonstandard
hours.


WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT (i.e., necessary travel, unusual work hours, unusual
environmental conditions, etc.)
Should be ready for immediate travel and must accommodate himself in different levels of living and working
environment.

Certification Requirement

    ROLE SUMMARY (What are the end results or objectives of this position? Why does it exist?) Responsible for the day to day activity of the technicians and helpers reporting to him/her Responsible for the execution of the task (assembly, installation or after sales services/maintenance) assigned to him/her by the Project Engineer Responsible for the management of his assigned Team and helpers and coordination of installation and commissioning and fabrication works. He will be responsible to attend the trouble shooting and emergency calls from site. Should there be no site activity he will be dedicated for assembly, quality control at fabrication yards, in addition to consistently improving the performance of the technical team. ACCOUNTABILITIES (Every position is characterized by a set of accountabilities when established. This part shall specify the tasks for which the job holder will be accountable for. Accountabilities should not exceed 10 and should be specific) ? Plan & Schedule the activities of the technicians and helpers for the execution of a project. ? Responsible for successful installation & commissioning of work assigned to him ? Responsible for Project handover and Project closure documents ? Responsible for timely completion of projects, and earlier wherever possible. ? Report to his manager on his and his team’s daily activities and the project’s progress ? Liaise with the projects coordinator for the timeous delivery of the equipment and materials ? Encourage use of new techniques & materials; focus on fact based problem solving. ? Monitor and develop his teams efficiency. ? Continually improve the safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes. ? Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas. ? Coordinate with the Client’s representative on site during installation, testing, commissioning, or aftersales services. PERFORMANCE MEASURES/SUCCESS CRITERIA (Performance measures are linked to accountabilities. They are the mean to measure the accomplishment of the required accountability) Successful completion & handover of Projects and demobilization from site. QUALIFICATIONS (Include degrees, licenses, certificates and years of general or specific work experience) Preferably he should be graduate or Diploma holder with 7+ years’ experience in water or related field. ? Have local driving license is preferred ? Customer satisfaction focused ? Efficiency and Time conscious ? Good knowledge about electro-mechanical work.
