STATIC FITTERS
SCOPE OF WORK
Works to be carried out by Skilled Static Fitters are as follows: Carry out blinding and deblinding of pipelines and equipment.
Dismantling and assembling of equipment such as exchangers, pressure vessels, column internals, filters for cleaning and repairs.
To carry out up keeping/cleaning of machines and accessories by Karcher machine. Performing other works such as preparation of documents site measurements, maintaining tools/spare parts, transportation of material and site cleaning.
To transport spares and accessories from/to Plant by Forklift, possessing Valid Qatar
Fork lift driving license issued by traffic Dept.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
2.1: Basic Function:
Performs a variety of skilled works in field or workshop. Applies different techniques as per procedures. Operates all types of machines use for caning out fitting jobs. Complies with all client's rules and regulations relating to safety matters.
2.2: Duties to be Performed:
a. Receives verbal or written work instructions with clear information and work methods to standards and discusses drawing details. Clarifies work
requirements with client supervisor before implementation. Obtains all required work permits from client supervisor before commencing the
assigned work.
b. Ensures that tools and equipment are in safe and effective working conditions. Keeps safety requirements to be maintained in accordance with client's
regulations and safety standards.
c. Collects materials and spare parts required for the work from the warehouse.
d. Checks work quality, and takes corrective action to remedy any detected faults through the work examination methods and standards.
e. Performs other similar or related duties such as maintaining good housekeeping in work sites and in workshops and ensuring safety regulations
are adhered to according to client policy.
f. To carry out up keeping/cleaning of machines and accessories by Karcher machine.
g. To transport spares and accessories from/to Plant by Forklift, possessing Valid Qatar Fork lift driving license issued by traffic Dept.

Certification Requirement

2.3: Minimum Requirements: a) 3 year technical diploma. b) 5 years’ experience in the maintenance field. c) Ability to read and comprehend Technical manuals and drawing. d) Ability to use all related tools in his field. e) A b i l i t y t o c o mmu n i c a t e ( s p e a k & wr i t e ) in English language. f} Ability to carry out jobs .independently. g) Shoul d be I nt el l i gent , cr eat i ve & har d wor ki ng. h) Should be aware of proper maintenance techniques
