Job Description

HSE Responsibilities
• Always take care for yourself, colleagues and others whilst at work.

Certification Requirement

    Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: • Provides single point accountability for business unit in HR management. • Contributes to the development of business plans and attends business unit meetings. • Ensures alignment of HR and business unit plans. • Works in partnership with the business unit to fully understand the key business drivers and needs, of current and future challenges. • Interpreting departmental and business unit plans to develop talent management strategies and succession & resource plans. • Provides assistance to the business unit managers in reference to understanding of the ministries ruling and policies. • Strengthening existing skill-sets and behaviors to support business unit managers to raise their capability to lead and manage change. • Acquiring a full understanding of the business unit being supported. • Identification of talented individuals in their specific business unit and building capability to support the development of this talent. • Counsel and coaches staff • Identify mid to long term manpower requirements and liaise with HR Recruitment Team to ensure staffing activity reflects the business need. • Meets manpower and skills and competence requirement. • Provides advice to business unit managers on HR management and staff development issues. • Works in partnership with HR colleagues to ensure consistent and proactive HR support to the business unit. • Serves as focal point for obtaining Specialists functions services in other HR units. • Facilitates and deliver HR calendar events into the business unit ensuring robustness and consistency such as employee appraisals, pay review, training needs analysis, career planning, etc. • Develop manpower plans, budgets, and training plans. • Coordinates the performance appraisal and management system. • Facilitates implementation of Organizational Development initiatives in line. • Scopes and bringing new development and understanding in line with the HR policies and implementation to continuously improve the HR services provided to the business unit. • Ensures adherence and compliance to policies and procedures.
