Job Description

SCOPE OF WORK
Works to be carried out by skilled Piping Fabricators are as follows:
To perform all fabrication work including fabrication of pipe lines in different material such as
carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cupro nickel etc.
Replacing piping and accessories such as valves, gauges, thermo wells etc
Opening, closing, and changing gaskets of flanged joints.
Steel structure and sheet metal fabrication, miter elbows and fitting jobs.
Fabrication of different size of tubing, piping, tanks etc...
Repairing of furnaces and boilers.
Performing other works such as preparation of documents site measurements,
maintaining tools/ spare parts, transportation of material and site cleaning.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
1.1 : Basic Function :
Performs a variety of skilled fabrication and cutting works in field or workshop.
Applies different fabrication techniques as per procedures. Operates all types
of machines use for fabrication. Complies with all Client's rules and
regulations relating to safety matters.

Certification Requirement

1.2: Duties to be performed: a. Receives verbal or written work instructions with clear information and work methods to standard and discusses drawing details. Clarifies work requirements with client supervisor before implementation. Obtain all required work permits from client supervisor before commencing the assigned work. b. Ensures that tools and equipment are in safe and effective working conditions. Keeps safety requirements to be maintained in accordance with client's regulations and safety standards. c. Collects the required materials and spare parts from the warehouse required for the assigned work. d. Checks work quality, and takes corrective action to rectify any detected faults through the work examination methods and standards. e. Performs other similar or related duties such as maintaining good housekeeping in work sites and in workshops and ensuring safety regulations are adhered to according to client policy. 1.3: Minimum Requirements: a) 3 year technical diploma. b) 5 to 7 years’ experience in the fabrication field. c) Ability to read and comprehend Technical manuals and drawing. d) Ability to use all related tools in his field. e) Ability to communicate (speak and write) in English language. f) Ability to carry out jobs independently. g) Should be intelligent, creative and hard working. h) Knowledge of International codes & standards related to fabrication and material. i) Should be aware of proper maintenance techniques.
