Job Description

Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises the Strategic Planning & Organizational Development Department activities to ensure company long-term strategic production plans are met in terms of growth and economic returns. Reviews the overall refining optimization and the economic evaluation of crude products.
Provides necessary support to Marketing & Refining Directorate for determining cost of production and selling price for refinery products. Provides support to Takreer Management in review and analysis of various refinery economic issues .Business Plan guidelines, and ensures that the resulting work programme is consistent with Company objectives and guidelines . Provides senior management with follow-up on the achievement of long term planning objectives, work programmes and targets. Produces reports, aide-memoire and presentations to Board of Directors and Management Committees. Provides economic and technical analysis and prepares studies and reports on critical issues as required by senior management. Reviews all new Finance Proposals (Capex and Opex) and provides senior management with recommendations/guidelines on amendments and approvals.
Manages, directs and controls the selection and implementation of technical and non-technical organizational development programs for improvement of performance across all divisions of the company. Manages, directs and controls the preparation and modification of Key Performance Indicators and KPI cascades to enable line management at all levels to better monitor performance of the company.

Certification Requirement

    Minimum Job Requirements B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. 12 years’ experience in Refining Industry of which 6 years should have been at a senior supervisory level. Fluency in English. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable. Excellent communication skills. Computer literate.
