Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on rig equipment (engines, pumps, top drive, draw works). Repair mechanical failures quickly to reduce downtime. Work on: Diesel engines (e.g., CAT engines like 3516 / C18) Mud pumps (e.g., Cameron, National) Top drive systems Hydraulic systems Good understanding of hydraulic systems (pumps, valves, cylinders) Equipment alignment (engine–generator, pump alignment) Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical systems Replacement of bearings, seals, and gaskets Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals Experience with top drive systems Experience using CMMS for maintenance tracking Maintenance reporting and documentation Spare parts management and material requests Strong knowledge of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures Familiar with Permit to Work (PTW) systems Proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Awareness of hazards related to rotating and high-pressure equipment Commitment to HSE standards and procedures

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools Disassembly and reassembly of heavy equipment Measuring clearances, tolerances, and alignment Handling breakdown maintenance efficiently Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
